Discover Alchemy Farm Nestled in the Fulford Valley on Magical Salt Spring Island
Let Your Soul Reset
Wander through lush perennial gardens designed for pollinators. Pick sun-warmed strawberries straight from the field, or gather blueberries and raspberries in the quiet of summer. Meander through the orchard, where fruit and nut trees thrive. Pause beneath the towering cedars and feel time slow down.
Let the gentle hum of bees and the songs of birds accompany you through the gardens of dahlias, roses and beauty, created by an Organic Master Gardener and award-winning environmental artist. Everything here is grown in harmony with the land—no chemicals, no pesticides, only deep care and a reverence for nature’s own intelligence.
Flowers fresh from the gardens adorn celebrations, food gathered from the gardens and greenhouse for micro weddings, and seasonal dinners held beneath the trees of Alchemy Farm, where long tables, birdsong, and golden light create an unforgettable atmosphere.
Sit by the pond, where waterlilies bloom and frogs sing, and watch evening Cedar Waxwings, Swallows, and Dragonflies glide above the artesian fed waters. On warm summer days, take a cooling dip and float beneath the wide sky.
The 10 acres of land holds quiet treasures—windblown bird nests, wild orchids in bloom, and secrets only nature knows. At its heart stands a growing circle of young Sequoia trees, each one planted on the cardinal points in memory of a loved one. The central tree acts as a living sundial, marking the movement of light through the seasons—an act of hope and remembrance for an endangered species, and a testament to the deep interconnectedness of all things.
The Salish Sea breezes whisper across the land, carrying autumn songs of migrating birds, replenishing rains in winter, the springtime scent of wild roses and cottonwood, and the sweet fragrance of summer—roses, blackberries, apples, pears, and peaches.
Made from first growth salvaged cedar and handcrafted by a master maker to hold the bounty of the farm gardens or your special handcrafted offerings.
Envision workshops, farm-to-table dinners, yoga retreats, or intimate gatherings unfolding in the upper floor of the barn, built from timbers harvested on the land. Below, the ground floor could welcome sheep, goats, horses—or continue as a workshop, creative studio, and cool storage for wine and harvests.
The spacious farmhouse is cozy and light-filled, with a large stone fireplace that invites gatherings, and generous windows that frame views of the orchard and gardens. It’s a home that holds stories—shared meals, quiet mornings, and laughter carried on the breeze.
This is a place of wonder and discovery, where imagination runs wild and lifelong memories take root—and now, it’s ready to hold yours.
